Personally, I would not use every ingredient the tutorial teaches. I like recipes to be simple. For example, I would simply use oats, pumpkin, vanilla, cinnamon and whatever syrup that I have, not necessarily pure maple syrup. Sure, her way has all of the bells and whistles, but does the recipe need to be so complicated?
What is also nice? All ingredients may be found at your local dollar store!
I would probably double the recipe to last a week for myself or in order to make a healthy gift for a relative or friend.
