Keep Fresh Air Flowing Inside Your Home

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, indoor air can have levels of some pollutants up to five times higher than outdoor air. So, what does that mean for you and your household? It is important to make some household changes as seen below to keep fresh air flowing and to reduce the number of pollutants within the home.

Here are some tips to get fresh air flowing inside your home:

Tip 1: Open windows on nice days.
Tip 2: Swap the duster for a microfiber cloth.
Tip 3: Replace the laminate floors with hardwood floors.
Tip 4: Choose spray bottles instead of aerosol cleaners.
Tip 5: Rethink your vacuum. Buy one thatís sealed and has a bag.
Tip 6: Clear the air using a purifier.
Tip 7: Choose houseplants to help clean the air indoors.
Tip 8: Seal off allergens by using mattress and pillow covers.
