Walking is one of the very first milestones that most humans experience in life. Walking also helps to maintain better mental, emotional and physical health as well. For example, walking improves blood flow to the brain, which may improve brain function and walking helps battle the effect of genes tied to obesity.

Here’s some tips to help you get moving with walking for better health and fitness:

Tip 1: Make it a daily habit to go for a walk with your family, a friend or your dog.

Tip 2: Set an hourly alarm on your phone to get up and walk around your office or house.
