Here’s some daily habits to help you motivate yourself:
Habit 1: Accomplishing one single task once you get out of bed – Getting something done first thing in the morning will give you a sense of achievement. Examples: Make your bed, cook breakfast, exercising, walk the dog, pray and meditate.
Habit 2: Connect your small tasks to your values – Whatever task you get done, frame it in relation to something that is important to you.
Habit 3: Crossing out tasks on your to-do list – Put your daily tasks on paper and make it a habit of crossing out tasks on your to-do list.
Habit 4: Being self-compassionate – Talk to yourself as you would to a good friend and give yourself a second chance.
Habit 5: Taking responsibility – Take responsibility for your task and see how much energy you will put into it.
While some people can naturally maintain a relatively high constant level of motivation throughout their journey, others may find it more difficult to cope with life’s challenges. Start these daily habits and you will be on your way to not only being motivated, but also providing motivation to others.
